Our exhibit for the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001 will be in the Meeting House. The Vandalia Playschool Exhibit will be in the School House and it will remain there for our October open houses.

A new interpretive sign designed for the Historical Society of Vandalia Butler is helping bring local history to life in a fresh and engaging way. The sign was designed by Taylor Cupp, who has worked with the Historical Society since 2022 to strengthen its marketing, modernize communications and expand its digital presence. We are meeting Saturday, April 11th from 9am-12pm to get ready to host Open Houses for the season beginning April 18th joining Buzzin' in the Park with the Vandalia Art Park and our first full Open House on Sunday April 19th. We will have a list of jobs for both inside and outside.( Weather Permitting)
