HSVB Gets New Fence

After several years of being on the "to-do" list, the aging fence along East Alkaline Springs in front of the Historical Society of Vandalia-Butler was finally replaced in September of 2023. The previous fence, which was installed in the 1980's, had fallen into disrepair and had been in dyer need of replacement for many years. In keeping with the construction techniques used on other structures at the historical society, no stain will be applied. The society looks forward to enjoying many years with the new structure.
