Members from the Historical Society Network visit the HSVB

On March 12, 2024, HSVB hosted the members from the Historical Society Network. We enjoyed pizza from Christy's and Little York Tavern and shared several historical desserts. 

The meeting topic on Audio and Video Archiving included an excellent presentation from Susan Martin (Miamisburg Historical Society) on Marketing on YouTube. The Historical groups from Germantown HS, Preble County HS, Miamisburg HS, Arcanum Preservation, Lewisburg HS, Centerville HS, and Franklin Area HS included Board members and volunteers. 

After the meeting the group took a tour of the Federal House, Log House, School House, and Spring House. 

We found that even though we serve different areas, we all share the same challenges and joys of sharing history.
